Researchers from Politechnika Wrocławska participated in a scientific exchange at ETH Zurich as part of the SWIRLS project. The mission focused on technical advancements regarding Quantum Cascade Laser (QCL) technology and delay line systems. During the visit, knowledge transfer occurred between ETH and Politechnika Wrocławska researchers concerning the QCLs and the delay line to be used in the project.
The exchange emphasized the importance of hands-on technical engagement and collaborative research. This mission underscores the ongoing commitment to international research collaboration within the SWIRLS consortium. A key component included a technical presentation by Łukasz Sterczewski on GaSb-based semiconductor laser frequency combs. These sessions helped to synchronize the strategic objectives and technical benchmarks of the project.
